The longevity of your unit and/ or extensions highly depends on how they are maintained day to day and also how they are stored when not in use. Your hair should be stored in a satin bag and wigs should be placed on a wig head to preserve quality. If the hair is properly cared for, it can last 4+ years.

Lace is delicate and not made to last forever. You have the option of utilizing our Wig Spa for Lace Replacement services. This too will extend the lifespan of your units.

Absolutely! That's the beauty of wigs, you can get endless wears and styles out of them.

Our Wig Spa Services help to increase the longevity of your wigs as well. We offer Wig Maintenance, Lace Replacement & Color/Cutting Services. Your wig will leave the spa refreshed and possibly with a whole new look!

We recommend waiting until you receive your Substantial Beauty order before booking your hair appointment especially if it's being shipped to you. In the event of an uncontrollable shipping delay (bad weather, holidays, natural disaster, or covid related delays) we are not responsible for hair arriving too late for your hair appointment that is previously booked.

We recommend Lace Closure Units to all of our beginner clients. You will only have 4-7 inches of lace to work with versus the full 13 inches of lace across your forehead on a Frontal Unit. Our units allow you to just put them on and go — GO GLUESS!

Yes! All of our units are constructed for a GLUESS fit according to your head size. They include an adjustable elastic band and wig combs for added security.

Besides our Non-Customized Collection, all of our units come 100% Styled and Ready-to-Wear upon arrival to you. If you would like to "melt" your lace, add a little of your favorite adhesive spray, apply your provided SB melt belt for 5 mins and you're good to go!
